I was there as well watching the volleyball tourney, and Dural can definitely play some ball. He looked very smooth out there. Deion Jones can play a little ball, too.

It looked like Riley and Eugene were talking trash all day to Jalen Mills, who kept calling ticky-tack fouls.

And although I didn't see every game, I saw Bain take at least 10 3's - missed every one.

I played with one lineman, who I didnt recognize, who couldnt hit a layup but made 3 step back 3s in a row to come back and win the game. That was pretty impressive to me.

I appreciated the anecdote, OP. You're dealing with the kind of smegma on this board that bitch about 10 win football seasons, so it's always tough sledding.

One of the coolest things I saw at the rec playing basketball one day was Marcus Spears dunking; he was a very good basketball player the couples of times I saw him there as well, but only saw him dunk once. It was not ferocious or anything, but seeing a guy as big as he was to have so much athleticism was just kind of odd to see in person to tell you the truth. It just goes to show how great some of these athletes are that LSU recruits.

I know he is not committed to LSU, but from what I gather from the grapevine, Malachi Dupre is a pretty good basketball player. Also, there is a video of Tyrann Mathieu somewhere on the net of him playing basketball and he is very good.

I once saw Howard Green shatter a backboard in the rec. he walked off with the rim.

Like a boss, I was not here for Shaq, but I am sure he had to break a couple. They probably told him he was off-limits at the Rec.

Most amazing thing I ever saw in the REC was Hickey and Stringer having a dunk contest last year. Their heads were getting as high as the rim.

I used to see Dalton Hilliard (all 5'-7" of him at his tallest) stand beneath the basket at the Field House and dunk it with two hands back in the day.

The guy had thighs like tree trunks. He was ridiculous.

No not a tough crowd... dumb thread. Id be more surprised to hear he couldnt dunk.

But Bain can dunk. So can OL recruit Garret Brumfield And these guys are 315lbs and 280lbs. Now thats impressive. Yea I used to play with Mingo at the REC. Would literally just throw him oops from half court. Wouldnt matter where if it was a bad pass either. He was throwing it down haha. 1 of the best athletes ive ever seen.

Makes fun of thread....adds two of his own csb's.

He needs to be physical on the field like that. He was getting man handled by DB's when he got playin time.

One of the greatest high jumpers/dunkers in American history was a guy named Franklin Jacobs. He was only 5'8".... he onced jumped 7'7"...now that's jumping for a short guy!
