So are you saying that Jefferson hasn't been a good QB so far?

He seems to be doing the right things in my opinion so far. Is he Tom Brady? NO
His mistakes that he's made have been minimal and haven't cost us any games at this point.
He seems also to still be learning the ins and outs of the college QB position.

Check Flynn's stats against Miss St that year.

And I think most people with sense are concerned with how this team has reached 4-0. It's just that the non D-bags realize that qb play is the least of our worries. If the Tigers could generate 200yds rushing and defend the rush, Jefferson would look like a wizard.

More than likely, he'll never impress you, no matter what he does.

Remember 2006 when LSU had a ABYSMAL running game with Broussard and Vincent?

Williams and Scott sat on the bench in the Auburn game that year!

He's been efficient, for the most part.
But you're right, he hasn't put up amazing stats.
But neither did Matt Flynn or Matt Mauck, but they found ways to win the game in the end.

VERY true.

It's amazing what a 1000 yard rusher can do for you as a QB.

It all connects we will be great if one of 3 things happens:
1) We become a treat passing
2) We can put up good rushing numbers
3) The O-Line does something worth a shite

Yes, so you are saying that due to JJ not having a similar run threat must mean than him getting comparable stats must mean that he is better then Mauck and Flynn.

So you understand the importance of a good line and a efficient running-back?

Honestly, I think Coach Miles is trying to force things with the line. The don't seem to be built for the power running that Les likes.

They seem like they are a Spread-type line.

What do you think?

JJ cant get us to the national championship is what I'm saying unless wthe O-Line gets going. Mauck was not that good but he was smart

First it was 200 yards. Now its 220? I love how no matter what he does, JJ won't be good enough for you.

What if he does?

Would you rather Jarrett Lee back at QB?

Mauck was not that good

He was efficient, and starting as a 24 year old. Very Mature, and a good leader.

but he was smart

He threw a lot of interceptions though. The 2003 defense bailed him out plenty of times.
