well we can all write Ed next week and tell him to suck us off when we beat florida. But then they will say that florida isn't really good, after they just finished saying that florida can get to BCSNCG with one loss.

Yeah, we're overrated. We'll probably lose by a fairly big margin to the mighty Gators. Hell, an interception returned for a touchdown right out of the gate and we're done. We have no chance. All knowing Ed is right, we won't win.

To be honest, the only thing I see wrong with having Penn State that high is that he said it was "because they beat Oregon State, who beat USC."
That doesn't work in football. That Oregon State win should be taken at face value (and it isn't a good value as they're 2-3)..the transitive property is not applicable in football.
Giving Penn State credit for Oregon State's win is pretty much giving Penn State credit for beating USC.
