The difference between distance rankings becomes fractions after the big sticks in the front of the pack.
The Masters is about short game and handling the mystique and pressure of the event.
Toms sets up pretty nice for this event this year. I saw a golf digest or golfweek "expert" pick him as his sleeper to win.

Tiger is playing well. I hope Toms makes the cut and gets a top 8 or top 10..he just isnt long enough to win
How many times are yall going to keep saying this stupidity. When Zack Johnson won in '07 he did not even attempt to reach a single par 5 in 2. He laid up every single time, and he played the par 5's at -12 for the week. Being long can bail you out of some poor shots, but Augusta is about accuracy and iron play... and of course your putting.
It's easy to see who on this board doesn't know very much about golf.

Putting is a bigger key in determining who wins this tournament. The guys who have experience at Augusta have an advantage when the pin placements change from day to day. There are no other greens on tour like Agusta's. I wouldn't count out anyone within ten shots of the lead at this point.
