Best thing to ever happen to TM7. Turned into a high character guy that has been a model athlete for LSU and a mentor of sorts to younger players.
Who would've thought on that team Reid and TM7 would switch places today?

If you think Les Miles was the one to make that decision then you’re an idiot.

I don't know why, but I feel like a proud dad every time I hear about how well TM7 is doing these days. He's truly one of my all-time favorite Tigers, regardless of how his time in Baton Rouge ended.

this, a lot of guys screw up opportunities and can never rebound, seems like this, or someone that got his ear, was a huge wakeup call for him and he turned it around big time

Les didn’t cut the honey badger. I’m sure the compliance dept had something to do with it.
Correct, University policy - not Less.

Everyone mentions the drug tests with Mathieu but people may not remember that he also ran afoul of potential payment issues ...
After a few DVs on this post, I just wanted to reply to my own post and clarify that I wasn't taking shots at the Honey Badger. Easily my favorite defensive player in LSU history. Just wondered if anyone else remembered the NIL stuff with him back then. Sorry if it came across wrong.

Mathieu would have shite down that Yeldon screen pass.

I bet he would not have been cut from the team if he was at Bama under Saban. You could probably have said the same if he was at Ohio St. under Urban Meyer...
Just saying...
