Exactly. And the fact that he takes the time to apologize to the fan base says something about the kids character. I'm sure he's mad it right with his teammates already, but I'm also sure his teammates told him not to worry about it, they'll handle Auburn and we can't wait to get you back to kick Bama's arse.

As a student of the university he represents, yes I think an apology was the right thing to do.
It's hilarious so many here get mad when the team has the "us against the world" mentality, but then say they don't owe us anything.
