Just because you think someone is a terrible person doesn't mean that you never mention them. Everyone is talking about him because he is significant, not because he is liked or disliked.
As for where we would be without him, we'll never know. It probably depends on who would have taken the job. At the least, we would be a very large school with amazing resources, a big fan base, great recruiting base, and plenty of potential to become what we are today. Not saying we didn't benefit from his 5 years here....

Why is Bobby Williams at Bama with Saban? They used to use him as a big example of people that had refused to work with Saban.
