The pundits are picking our rivals to take the SEC Crown in 2020 and guesstimating our Tigers into Citrus Bowls. SEC Rant posts are filled with gleeful Gumps posting tripe about our 2020 Tigers much to my amusement.

New Saints Template modified and used at LSU is THE BEST CFB ever played. Nothing the Tide can do will stop a Nov 7 beating.

SPREAD and SHRED accurately describes our offensive attack

Historical Perspective vs Alabama:
In the history of LSU FB, whenever a great LSU team arose, LSU always won the game before or after that championship year as well as the championship year itself when we have played Alabama.

I’m posting this here so that others may read it and bring it to those who write better than I.

LSU’s Greatest Teams (1908, 1935, 1958, 1970, 1986, 1988, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2019) have always strung together multiple wins over Bama in years we have played

Never has a National Championship team NOT done this! That is an amazing streak!

Point # 1:
LSU beat Bama in 1909. In 1908, National Champ (NCAA recognized) LSU went 10-0.
LSU proceeded to beat Bama in 1909 without Mike Lally and other 1908 star players

Notable: 1935 (5-0 SEC) & 1936 (6-0 SEC) SEC Champion LSU Tigers NEVER played Bama. They are SEC Champs. In 1935, LSU lost post season to National Champ TCU 3-2
The Williamson Poll has LSU as Co-Champ.

Point 2:
LSU won in 57 & 58 (58 season National Title with Heisman Winner # 20 Billy Cannon)

Point 3:
LSU won in 69 & 70 (Manning beat us to keep us from a Natty in 69. Payback was a sweet 63-17 mauling worse than the 63-29 Oklahoma beat down in 2019. LSU won SEC in 1970!

Point 4:
LSU won in 2003/2004/2005 (2003 Natty)

Point 5:
LSU won in 2006/2007 (2007 Natty)

Notable:
LSU won in 2010/2011 during regular season but lost a National Title rematch. This has no relevance to the November 7 game, unless the Tide somehow manages to make playoffs and a similar 2011 scenario could be possible

Final Point 6:
LSU won in 2019 (National Champs) after losing in 2018. If History holds true, LSU will beat Bama on Nov 7 65+ stout LSU lads (defending National Champs) await NFL also-decimated Gumps on Nov 7.

Tidbits
Nothing Sarkisian can choreograph will prep him for a Bo Pelini Defense! Sarkisian will have to wait & see what LSU dee schemes & blitz packages are used vs Texas & Florida = Big Adv LSU who already has a rough game plan for both Florida and Bama

Sarkisian does not intimidate DCs or impress other OCs anymore! He has no Tua this year. Pelini meanwhile has plenty of video to watch Mac Jones at QB and draw up a vicious edge assault to rattle Mac Jones.

Again, draw your own conclusions. While I’m sure we beat Bama, there are games at FLA and at AUB and at TAMU. I’m ready to see us make the SECCG & Playoffs again!

I'm calling it now. Mac will start the usc game for bama, but the freshman will be starting by the time they come to tiger stadium, and hopefully our crowd rattles him

Mac gonna see about the transfer portal once Bryce Young takes his first snap.

Although, Bryce is 5’ 11” 183lbs soaking wet. He gets lit up one time and it’s gonna change everything for their QB depth chart.

Sark doesn’t have a prayer on Nov 7.

• No video on Pelini Defensive schemes
• Three new vicious Edge Rushers to stop
• Will have the Texas and Florida games to analyze to create a Mac Jones or Bryce Young or Both offensive attack.

Meanwhile, back on da Big Bayou:

LSU has created initial (of three) Off & Def game plans for Florida (Trask @ QB) and Bama (Mac Jones @ QB) and will do a 2nd tweak of initial game plan in June or July

The Myles Brennan detractors need to go watch him cap off Oklahoma! 60% passing will destroy the SEC again in 2020

You do realize that Pelini has been coaching for 20+ years, including a few at LSU.

1909 team is far different than the 08 team, the Smith brothers are not on the team, Martin "Mike" (is his nickname, which all the players on the 08 had) Lally was disqualified due to him endorsing a check to pay him 10.50 to another person to take his spot as a singer (which at the time was legal), that is 3 of the four backfield players. Doc missed the first game in 1909 due to grades.

Martin Lally would come back to play on 1910 team, but played almost all the season hurt. Lally won his appeal and was reinstated around Jan 1910.

This leaves out our enforcer Gandy was a grad and others. I used to talk to Gandy's daughter on the phone many weeks a year.

You left of the 1982 LSU team, the 1936 team and 1987 team.

1943 and 47 were both good as well. 1943 had not the war come in force would have been one of the best all time LSU teams.

Great post and points !!!

My Grandpa Pat Ryan played on 1908 team rushing for three TDs as a backup HB! I love talking about this 1908 team, and know Mike Lally and Clarence Smith were sorely missed in 1909. Grantland Rice & his Tulane losers are howling in Hell in unison today doin’ Looney Tunes.

I only did the years we were National Champion!

I knew about 1935/1936, and counted that under NOTABLE! We were beaten 3-2 so no real Natty there recognized by NCAA.

I knew about other years but they weren’t really close to National Championships as say 69/70 seasons!

Great points again thanks! We have a great streak to uphold this November!

And what’s more, we have a great Streak to end

And when we break them in November, and rush that field tearing down the goal posts to a $250k fine, we will have effectively ended the Saban Dynasty and let that little horrible man know who’s the New SEC Boss!

I have a feeling Saban already knows!

All due respect, but i do not think this means a thing. That said, if Brennan is a good QB, LSU will beat the gumps.

Just Watch! I like your swagger

Really! I’m convinced that other folks don’t have the respect for Myles Brennan that he deserves and will show in 2020.

Watch:
A) OK game 4th Quarter 75 yard drive
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuriful
Don’t bother to check his QB rating was higher than Joe’s after Joe’s 7 TDs
B) TAMU game & his Racey connection

Read:
[link=(U sound like your trying to convince yourself and others,)]Myles smoked Joe in explosive plays in Spring Game 2019 but no one remembers[/link]

What Defense was trying to stop Myles LAST SPRING? The best in America!
Psssssssssssst! Got a lil secret for ya’!
Myles is gonna pick up where Joe left off

Bama doesn’t have a prayer to stop Brennan and that explosive offense

All due respect, but i do not think this means a thing. That said, if Brennan is a good QB, LSU will beat the gumps.
