LSU could use I formation personnel to draw 7-8 in the box, go max protect, and make a living off of one on one with LaFell and Toliver on the edge. We have 2 potential NFL 1st rounders...
...hopefully will begin happening this weekend against Jaw'jaw.....

I don't know why Crowton stays at LSU because you know its not his idea to run Scott up the middle for no gain the entire game.
Nope! I have not spoken to Crowton or Miles. What else do you know about the play calling without anyone associated with play calling telling you about it?

Maybe Miles is trying to show loyalty to Scott who elected to come back for his senior year.
I ain't buying that. Do you think Scott likes running the ball without gaining any yards?

Pensatom-
I completely agree. That type of gameplan makes the best use of the skills of the players we have.
During the offseason, we heard that the O-line was losing weight so we could be more of a spread O. Now Miles is bitching because we cant get in the I and power up the middle for 4 - 5 yards a pop.
I think its obvious that Miles and Crowton have different opinions about the offensive philosophy. This is why we look schizophrenic on O.
We have been recruiting players to spread the field. Miles needs to let go and let Crowton call the game the way he wants.

Dandy Don's posted the transcript. Count how many times this word comes up:
Of course our other coach had public speaking problems as well, aight?

Thats exactly what I gathered. I also think he will continue to use RS only in spot duty. When asked why RS didnt get more work in the second half, Miles said something to the effect "we were passing and running and RS doesnt fit into those schemes" ?????????????? thats not verbatim but its close.

and one more thing...until we start allowing Jefferson (who is over 6-4 by the way) to throw the ball over the middle on a semi-regular basis...defenses will continue to run blitz and pass blitz with their middle backers at will b/c they know they don't have to respect the middle if the field.
You have said a mouthful. +1
