This is the game that defines our season in a way

This is the fourth game into the season. We should have all kinks worked out and ready for the SEC. Screw this shite about upset alert. We are LSU. I am a negatiger that is needed to be proven wrong. Lets Geaux Tigers, impress Tiger Nation, and pose a threat to the entire SEC in this game.

My guess is we eek by MSU, they will come out on top at first and we will fight from behind for a win. Remember it was Dan Mullen who had our defense number last year.
Then Georgia will be a brutal scoring game. They will either force JJ to make the play or we simply will lose.

it doesn't help that there is a 90% chance of rain in Starky...underdog always has the advantage in the rain. I still think we win by 2 TDs. However, we will still have some kinks to work out...there is always something that can be worked on.

I don't think all the kinks will be worked out tomorrow. We'll be ready for Georgia after this game but that's about it.

I agree. I know we have already played Vandy, but tomorrow's game is the beginning of SEC play in earnest. The outcome of tomorrow's game and how LSU plays, in my opinion, will set the course for the remainder of the season.
Time for the Tiger Nation to pull together. All the goals are out there and within reach.

This game does not define our season it only defines what espn will say about lsu next week. It should be an ugly win like the others but mabe a little better. Over the next 5 weeks we play UGA, fla and auburn. Even negatigers should think we have a good chance to come out that stretch with only one loss. That give us 6 weeks of tough competition and a bye week before Bama. We should be much improved by then..........right?..........UGA is a big one

we got a lot of shite to get straight. just throwing this out there....we were 4 and 0 last year. ended the year 3 and 5 with wins over tulane, troy, and south carolina.

I don't think this is true. Remember, if you will, that Georgia only put up 14 against Okie State.
Putting up 40+ against Arkansas is not that much of a feat. I think that it was just two terrible teams playing the hell outta each other to see who is the worst.
Could be wrong, but I firmly believe neither is that good.

IMO, if we don't start to get things together, then are we ever going to? This is the game where we need to break loose. I think Les Miles knows this and the most of the Tiger Nation. If we do not impress, then we will lose much more respect and it will hurt us in the long run. I mean it's obvious, if we struggle against Mississippi state, then we are headed for a long season.
I am calling it right now, a blow out from the Tigers and Crowton will finally open things up.

Exactly. I don't think it a stretch to think LSU's performance tomorrow will dictate how things go the rest of the year. If LSU is going to get it together, tomorrow must be the game or LSU will be headed towards a long year in my opinion. If we can't show improvement and more intensity against Ms. State then we are going to get hammered by UGA and Florida.

I think we will have a much better game today and the off will look alot better. If it is raining alot maybe thats the day that we get the running game going. We gotta be positive this team has alot of talent and I think its about to start clicking.

Yes, this is a important game. If we can come out of this game with a two to three td win, I will be happy. I accually hope we dont blow them out. I don't want any player to get complacient before Georgia. If we play a perfect game this week, players may relax next week at practice then there goes everything against Georgia and Florida
