I think far too much attention is being paid to a few posters who claim to be negatigers. Theirs is simply a ruse to be accepted by this board and the fact is that they are not fans of LSU or the football team at all. In my opinion they should be treated as fans of other teams who seek to flame in the most ingenuine and cowardly way.

Hindsight is 20/20 from your Lazyboy. The game was still within reach into 4th, and doing something different doesn't always give the best chance for victory, eg OM game.
