Third and Chavis Was Evident

Until the goal-line stand. On every third-and situation that the defense gave up yardage, the commentators would point it out. We need a big run stuffer in the middle.

Edit - I wasn't aware that Nevis didn't play. He can definitely be the run stuffer. Also didn't know that Kelvin Sheppard was out. LM also said that they ran some things that limited the defense from doing some things that would have helped them.

you really shouldn't comment on the defensive unit until all of the starters are on the field together and everyone is healthy

I think you mean I shouldn't judge the def unit until all of the starters are on the field together. Which I agree with that. However, as I stated in the OP, the commentators pointed out that the D was not stopping the third and shorts.

I disagree. It was just a undersized DT's couldn't stop a 3rd and short. Pass defense did very well.
