Things we should be excited to hear

From os presser after practice. I was excited to hear how much he thinks the tackles and o line as a whole have improved. He Talked about deculus and Charles looking really good. The o line as a whole has stood out to him. He said Charles made some changes to his technique in the off season and it's improved his pass blocking.
He also seemed to be as impressed as I've ever heard him, or read about him being, with Cade York. He was really impressed, I'm not positive, but if York is just as good in the games as he is at practice, then there's no need to wonder if it's him or Connor culp.i think most of us and o new the answer to that question though. Culp had his chances and made one or two big kicks in the auburn game 2 years ago, but missed way to many gimmes to be an sec kicker, he would have had to make a drastic improvement to see the field this year, or York would have had to melt under pressure for the guy to play. Decent backup maybe.
I just thought I'd share this ,it's all on the home page but here we can discuss it.
As long as these minor injuries aren't the lingering type, then we should be excited about how camps going so far and what were hearing.
He also said rashard Lawrence took a practice off, so no reason to be worried about him not being there yesterday.
He also seems to want the young running backs to continue there impressive start of camp, so they can get them on the field early in the season. The way he said it made it sound like he thinks they have more upside then the guys we had last year. Said. he wants them to move up the depth chart,if they can protect it seems that may happen. I'm starting to think that the freshmen may get the bulk of the carries or at least half.before the camp started, I thought there may be a few games played before they see 12 to 15 carries. Now I'm thinking that they could see 25 combined versus GA southern and then that game will dictate who gets carries Vs Texas.. By conference play, I think one of them will get just as many if not more carries then Clyde.
What an exciting time to be an Lsu fan. The basketball team is successful and should be year in and year out for the foreseeable future. Paul m finally hired a paid hitting coach,i believe he's payed anyway, and you have the most talented football team since 2012 in my opinion.

The offense will be nasty if the tackles can keep a clean pocket.

John es run from yesterday was something to see, maybe he should be starter game 1 or 2 if he does more of that, top end Speed is what we missed in the running game last year. I almost feel like he could be bo Jackson and not start week 1 though. They will defer to ceh being older, and more experienced in the part of the offense that's the same from last year.

An opinion that I've had is that a lot of the new rpo stuff will feature the two freshmen though.
Everything that's new will be new for everyone, so the older backs don't have any kind of advantage over the new guys, who may Be more talented. So they will get more playing time then the older guys when running the new stuff.
I think the areas of concern for the new guys is all of the pass pro and especially 3rd down pass pro. I could see ceh being the third down back very soon in the season, maybe even week 1.
