Well considering Vick is a poster boy now and Martha Stuart gets tv deals. This guy is a saint compared to those two. He was pissed off and took it to the next level. Get over it.

Says he gets season tickets and BCS tickets from anonymous alums..

Does anyone see a problem with giving this guy so much attention, and adulation? And by adulation, I mean Bama and LSU fans lining up to take pictures with him, and discussing his whereabouts on sports boards? He's becoming like a "super-fan" for Bama. It's all kind of perverted. While I agree with you, it's amazing to see the Gumps worshipping a common criminal!
THIS! Seems to be the new face of bama now - how fitting

Isn't the starting qb still facing simple battery charges? Does that in fact make him a criminal of sorts? Isn't it true that someone on LSU did kick that turd in the head? I'm on the team's side in that fight actually but if you want to be the pot calling the kettle black, go right ahead.

Why would you even bring that up? What's the relevance? People aren't taking pictures with this character in spite of his crime, they are taking pictures with his BECAUSE of it.
I don't know this Updyke fellow. I'm not condemning the man. The only thing that I know about him is that he killed Auburn's famous and beloved trees. He took "being a fan" too far. Way too far! And Bama fans are essentially condoning his behavior when they treat him like a celebrity.
Oh, I know it's all done tongue in cheek. The photos of the man, (and the very actions he took regarding the trees), seem to suggest he has some mental health issues, so I'm sure there's a little bit of insincere goofing of the guy going on. Nevertheless, I find the whole business of flattering the guy, even unintentionally, to be rather crass, and quite frankly, all too common in our society.

Yes on Vick, no on Martha. She didn't do anything every member of congress hasn't done.

What an asinine comment. Both Vick and Stewart went to jail. And Stewart"s "crime" is nonense.

What are we supposed to be over? That comment makes no sense? He is clearly an unstable loser, pointing that out doesn't mean I'm not over something, I was not that upset about.

Actually those trees yet live, and the aubs did far more damage to them than the former Texas State Trooper
Posted on 1/9/12 at 11:42 am to CrimsonFlame
^^^Dude, do some research, they are technically still alive, but they are doomed. Their days are numbered. No tree will survive the lethal dose of Spike 80 DF that that batshit crazy scumbag gave them.
