I didn't see the interview, but I read about it in the paper. In the paper, he said that his team is not the 2nd best team "YET." I think he was trying to motivate his team to come out and make a statement against OU. While I think Bama is the 2nd best team in the nation, I think it is possible that OSU plays us in the NC.

Heck of a link there. Nice compilation of the resumes of all the top one loss teams. If you put that together, kudos.

patriot alum it is not that we do not want to play bama, no doubt yall are number two. The only thing that bothers me is that even if yall win (HYPOTHETICAL) then you can not tell me that yall are the undisputed national champions! You had your chance at home you do not deserve another. With that said we will see ya in the dome!

I took the liberty of running the numbers using LSU's opponents.
AVG BCS ranking:42.0. (39.8 when we beat UGA.)
Of course, both LSU and Bama numbers skewed by having an FCS opponent. Which if factored in, would make that avg even worse...

Alabama fans are akin to the lawyer that is defending a criminal caught on video. He shows the video to the jury and makes every effort to convince the jury they didn’t see what they just viewed on the video. Alabama is begging the voters to see it their way. Hey voters, LSU really didn’t beat us. What you see on the scoreboard is your imagination. Are you going to believe your lying eyes or us?
