Well thats just wrong. I'm not like many here saying getting him in at any and all cost but if they won't even try then the AD needs to step in.

It still would be nice for someone independent to confirm that they are doing jack shite to try and get him into the cage. If they don't even show up to try to coax him in there and are just assuming that he isn't going to get in, then something needs to be done and it should be brought to light for the fans and the student body.
Somebody set up a tailgate spot near the habitat. Be there at 8:00AM and see if anything happens.

This thread is still going? Hopefully the consensus is that someone needs starve, drug, or electrocute that fricking pampered cat and get it in the damn cage.
