Shouldn't he ultimately be judged by his conference record as opposed to his overall wins/loses?

He should be judged by everything including his 5-0 record against top 15 teams when we won the national title, his 4-0 record in post season bowl games, his 50-13 over all record as a coach, his conference over all record which is pretty much the same as Nick's in his 5 yr tour of duty here, his 3 top 5 finishes in 4+ yrs, and his top 10 ranking at this point in time this year.

You can make your own "ultimately" judgment of his record as it stands now, but I believe most reasonable people would look at that body of work at LSU and say, "damn, that's pretty freaking good!"

If Miles wins the next two games, I better not hear a peep out of any self-proclaimed LSU fans who will complain about not winning with style or by a lot of points each game. In the SEC it is hard to win any game, and only having losses against the #1 and #2 teams in the nation, while finishing 10-2, better be enough to shut some of you assclowns up.

Yes and is there ANYTHING more important than "he wins"?

Yes there is something more important. Everybody does LSU has been the beneficiary of a soft schedule (except fla, ala). Our out of conference schedule is a joke. That is why Les as many easy wins. We know in our hearts we are capable of being a truly dominant team!

Really?

He has finished in the top 5 nationally 3 of 4+ yrs with a chance of finishing in the top 10 this year, but he's not a game coach?

Tell that to Ohio St, a pretty big game I thought, or any of the 3 other post season teams he wasted.
