NO, matter of fact, I was just thinking how I distinctly remember people wanting to give Dinardo more time in his last year here before Saban took the job, and as if speaking about a change at the top was in somehow a jab at LSU or something crazy like that.

I don't really care about ANY of them in the grand scheme of things, because they are all extremely well paid for their services. I just care about my Tigers, and whatever and however it takes to get my Tigers to the top and keep them there, I am for, and to hell with who stands in our way, no matter what his name is. I have NO LOYALITES TO COACHES, Miles, Saban, or Insert name here________.

Saban chewed a roast off of our backup QB's arse the last play of the game. He coaches until the very end of the game. I mean he was raising hell tearing his headset off because the guy did the victory formation wrong and didn't let enough time run off the clock before he snapped the ball. Saban went nuts and then after they ran the last play he went out on the field straight to the QB and explained to him exactly what he did wrong before he went to meet the other coach.

This is what we miss so much. Saban makes his players fearful to make a mistake. They know they'll get chewed out on national tv when they go back to the sidelines after a blown play. Miles simply pats them on the helmet and tells them what they did wrong. I want a coach to fuggin tear another hole in their arse. It gets championships in the long run. I hate to say it, but Saban > Miles by miles...

Another person that still doesn't get it.

If anyone can remember how Saban plays against real teams, especially in big games, when he has a big lead he constantly sits on it and allows the team to come back.

ETA: that is one of the very things I think of Saban when someone mentions him.

Josh Jasper was sacred of Miles after kicking off out of bounds.

Last night's second half was just plain disgustingly ugly as hell. Embarassing, and does not give me any hope at all that very much will be changing. Sorry, I know it's the first game, but that's just the way I see it in all honesty

No you're right. What we saw last night was typical Les Miles. LSU plays fantastic, then gives up. This isn't going to change because this is the type of coach Miles is. He lets his team give up. He has a shitty attitude.

I know he won 60 games, and a NC, and all that. But his attitude sucks, it's why the players give up, it's why they look confused all the time. Miles is taking this program down, we will never be an elite program again until he's gone.

It's not about Saban the man, but about the coaching style of Saban that I respect and believe lends itself to championships. Saban wouldn't come, and even if he would, it would never work out again because there is too much water under the bridge for that.

I would just like a coach more in the Saban makeup and less a diplomat.

Yep let's welcome back the coaching style that produces the following:

4th quarter deficits.
Big leads being sat on in big games and allowing the team to come back.

Saw too much of this when I watch Saban, Even now.
