re: The most glaring difference between Miles and Saban

My loyalty is to LSU, which is WHY it is so hard to endure season after season of coaching mediocrity, at best, offered up by Miles and his assistants. We pull out these ugly wins because we have tremendously talented players, in spite of the poor coaching and lack of team discipline and development. Keeping Miles as Head Coach is going to eventually dry up our talent pool. I hope this season is his last rodeo with us.

52-15.
Yes, big difference between saban and miles is that miles doesn't lose to the ULM's and UAB's of the world.

Bama Scoop hit the nail on the head. Miles is not close to the Saban coaching style and that is what it will take to win in the SEC. Miles does not have that in him. Saban maybe be a SOB at times , and he may not be the Father figure that Miles is but he wins. What you want SEC Champ Coach or Father know best. It would be great to have both sides but you have to know when to us hard love . Geaux Tigers and Bama Scoop good luck to the Tide and the SEC.

Then may I count you as an Alabama fan, since you seem to believe that supporting a coach is superior to supporting the school.

When in the world are you people going to stop sucking off saban.
He used us like a french whore in order to move his career forward.
As much as you guys complain about Miles he has never used us to move up the couching ladder.
How about trying to show some loyalty to him!

LMAO....oh, and the style of miles does not lend to success in the SEC...lmao. 52-15, Conference and National championships...hilarious.

My loyalties are with LSU, and only with LSU. I've seen some 8 coaches come and go in my lifetime, and you know what the constant is? LSU is still there before and after their stint at LSU, as am I.

dude, this coach of ours had multiple 1st rounds picks on teams. And even backed into the champ. game with a lot of luck.
now you see how good the coaching really is when he doesn't have a stacked team.....
those days are over with, a lot of IFS on the team. we'll never see another NC, more less an SEC one for quite some time.
you can concede the future, considering we have no QBs for 2012 and 2013 with any experience...
you better win now with what he have on the field, are you comfortable with that???

the difference is that Saban (and many others) knows how take his foot and step on the other team's neck when they are down
You have a short and very selective memory. Roloff err Saban got a lead and he would let the air out, just like we did last night. Thats fine but you can't fumble the ball and tackle the LB on what would have been a touchdown by Ridley. Turnovers is what made us look bad last night and a pull it out of your arse play by NC on that 97 yard pass.

Who does Saban coach? Is that likely to change anytime soon?
He shouldn't enter the conversations here.
Anyway who won the game?

On the long pass play RR was open 10-20 yds before he threw the ball. he waited too long to try to get it to him. he doesn't anticipate the receiver open. he has to "assure" him open. Those are 2 COMPLETELY different things and he better get this or it will be much of the same.
Wow, thanks Coach Manning. I am sure that Crowton and Gonzales will be giving you a call to consult on the qb play.

Saban won in single digits 3 times in 5 years. miles was much better.

Yelling at players & coaches is not coaching- it is being an idiot. Big difference

No mention of the fact that Saban has two national championships at two different schools that hadn't won a NC in some time before he got there?
Look... This isn't as much about Saban and Miles as it is the difference in between the coaching STYLES of a Saban versus a Miles.

Mike how many of these 8 coaches had better winning percentages than Coach Miles.
Have you forgotten what the 19990's were like?
