How about when you played for LSU
I didn't therefore I don't criticize a kid for doing the best he can.

directed a movie
I didn't but I don't spend my time writing critical shite about movie directors either.

were a civil engineer that designed the traffic routes?
I didn't but I don't sit around bitching and crying about things I have no control over.
All of which means ...........................I'm an adult.

Didn't you already post that?

Yeah you do, you're doing it right now. You have no control over my opinion, so you're going out of your way to be a smart arse to get your point across, which comes across as juvenile and "bitchy".

See above.

Now tell me the truth. Making that snide comment about Jefferson made you feel like a big man didn't it? It made you feel powerful didn't it?
Not really. I'm just killing time till quitting time at 4:30. Oh wait, it's 4:30 now.
I bet you have never once in your life bitched about an athlete or a sports team, critiqued a movie, bitched about traffic, argued politics, or anything else. Because you're really a living, breathing, uber-mature SAINT in life.

LSU fans believes that booing in Tiger Stadium is their most efficacious means of expressing dissatisfaction with the offensive performance.
bullshite. You want to voice dissatisfaction? Don't go to the game at all. Stay home. Nothing will send a louder message than 40,000 empty seats at kickoff. Stay home and boo at your wife and kids instead.

Huge difference between being adult enough to choose the proper venue for your discontent and some convoluted booing that is going to affect the student athlete.
There are dozens of legit outlets for our displeasure. I choose this forum as an outlet. Booing simply erodes confidence in the athlete and probably will do little to affect Les Miles. In fact, it may stiffen his resolve.

The significant number of fans booing are absolute trash and deserve the ridicule. LSU fans deserve their reputation. I find it amusing as hell you people boo, what appears to be the QB and then bitch like hell when you are called out for it.

Ding ding ding - We've got a winner... This is our problem.

I find it hilarious that you people are bitching about being called out, for openly calling out a coach and a player. You appear to be able to dish it, but not take it. Classic.

Having a qb that can't throw a simple screen pass and a coach that's too chickenshit to try option B does tenfold the damage that booing does to erode confidence.

I wonder how many folks that boo are big wig TAF members? You don't think those people feeling the way they do will affect Les Miles?

I can take it! I'm 40! I'm a man!
**Note - I am not actually 40 yet. That number was used for humorous purposes...

Probably very few. Those people are most likely adults who understand effective outlets for their displeasure.

Excellent post.
The media can say how poorly our offense is, how bad JJ is, but ridicules the fans for booing for the same reasons.
I don't condone booing either, but it's the only way the fans can vent their frustrations at Miles. It's not like we have a direct extension to his phone. I don't like that we did it, but I understand it.

I know you better stop or you're gonna shatter my morale and cause the LSU team to quit because I won't be bringing my A game to Tiger Stadium on Saturday.

This has to be the most pathetic excuse for a "news" story I have ever seen. Philadelphia fans booed Santa Claus for God's sake. Philly fans are generally viewed favorably by the media. They are considered "tough." LSU fans boo and they are considered "spoiled."
Bottom line is it must be a very slow news week, if this is the best they can come up with.
I challenge any of the media clowns to come down for a game and get the total Tiger Stadium experience. Tailgate, pregame, postgame, watch the band come down, the whole deal. Then, tell the world that LSU has bad fans. I'm calling bullshite on this.
LSU fans are amongst the best in all of college sports. Some of these people are donating significant portions of their take home pay just for the privilege of a seat in Tiger Stadium. Nobody travels like LSU fans --- NOBODY!!! We routinely take over other teams' cities when we are there. Tell the people in Omaha that LSU has bad fans. This is a horseshite story.
LSU fans = bad fans?
LSU fans = spoiled fans?
Hardly!
This is as passionate a fanbase as you will ever come across. People live for LSU athletics around here. frick YOU ESPN!!!

Based on this thread alone, this would be a good thing.

I love it. So now Eagles fans are the gold standard for fan behavior in Tiger Stadium?
Obviously, LSU is missing out by not pitching this angle to recruits. Come play for LSU and we'll train you to deal with Eagles fans when you suit up in the NFL.
Maybe we could open up a courtroom and jail inside the old South Stadium dorms???
And for the record, most national media folks don't consider Philly fans tough. They consider them drunken imbeciles. There's a reason they had to put a courtroom in the basement of Veterans Stadium.

This.
People can say the "I'm not booing the players" bullshite but put yourself in their shoes. Down on the field all they hear is booing and what they may think is that you're booing them.
It's just all booshit.
Reminds me of the Seinfeld heckling episode. He gets heckled during his show and decides to go and heckle the woman at her job.
Soooo...how would the boo'ers like to have the tables turned on them. Let the players come into their offices or in their classes and start booing the shite out of them.
