There is still NO EXCUSE for not putting Lee in the game when you saw how absurdly ineffective Jefferson was, especially since you wouldn’t have been in the NCG in the first place had it not been for him.

I agree he should’ve put him in. I also think that it wouldn’t have made a difference. I just wish he would’ve played him so we wouldn’t be talking about this a decade later.

LSU scored ZERO. How could anything be worse? Jefferson had 50 plays he either ran or passed in SEC title game and NC title game. JJ gained 100 yards total on those 50 plays. Horrendous.

Without Lee, LSU would've never started the season 9-0. Go back and watch replays of the games after Miles pulled Lee as the starter. The offense immediately started to struggle.

Utter bullshite. Our best month in yards per play was november uner Jefferson. But dont let facts get in the way of your opinion

Because as bad as LSU played—it was 9-0 at the half.

JL had no mobility, and his history against BAMA was horrible. In fact, he was pulled in the regular season game against Bama because he sucked.

13/34—181—1—4
4/10——44—0—1
4/7——-67—0—0
3/7——-24—0–2

24/60—316—1—7 in 4 games. His history proved he was not the answer.

How it could have been worse? JL comes in and makes LSU even more one dimensional. I’m no JJ fan—but he was mobile and could throw. Not great, but the only chance we had in that game was JJ’s mobility to get a pass off that hopefully was caught.

Even after 3 QTRs it was 12-0–we were literally 2 plays from leading—that is why JL didn’t play. That along with his history against Bama. Had the OL played well and the QB had time to throw and the halftime stats were the same, you’d have an argument to make, but that wasn’t the reality.

Pretend all you want, JL was not going to come in and be the miracle maker.

Decisions are made with the game that’s in front of you—not after the fact wudda, cudda, shudda when everyone looks smart with their opinions.

Wanna know how dumb Les is? Jordan Jefferson in 2009 had the same amount of pass attempts as Zach Mettenberger in 2013. That’s how stupid Les was.

At the time had a rb setting the sec single season ypc record. We also had big leads in 4th in 2013 compared to 2009.
2013 we had 5 wins by over 20 points. 2009 we had 2.

Probably because the Bama defense was in his face about a second after the ball was snapped, which also explains why JL never saw the field

yeah JL would back foot bail when anyone was within 5 feet of him. As inept as JJ was IMHO no way JL gives us any better chance.
