Dear Badger

Quit hanging with with rap groups who sing songs about dope and your life will improve. LSU loves u and wishes you well. Please help others understand the pitfalls of thug POS people using your fame to their advantage!
God bless you

actually that would be character.
Character is doing the right thing even though no one is watching, not success.

Some of you people kill me.
This guy had multiple chances, was given EVERY fricking opportunity to succeed in life from God given talent to every resource available through the PRIVILEDGE to get to play football at a place like LSU and HE fricked it all up... nobody else.
He put himself and his own personal wants above his team, school and fanbase.
Im not happy that he is gone, but Im certainly not crying like a little fricking girl about it like several of you here are.

We recruit the for a reason, this is an opportunity for another kid that wants it to step up and get his chance.
Thats what Im excited about.
TM7 should have spent more time with Eric Reid, he'd most prob still been here, been a better player and person.
Some get it in life, others never will.

People need to stop feeling bad for this kid, he put getting high as his top priority over his teammates. He was given a second chance over and over, apparently he couldn't get it through his head that if he wanted to smoke weed he couldn't play football. He chose getting high as more important in the end, you can't seriously feel bad for him. He'll continue to make the same mistakes in my mind, no doubt

Thank God we all don't have "your mind"

I'm sick of the "it's just weed" comments. That's not the issue. The rule could have been don't drink beer, or see R rated movies for all I care...He violated it multiple times without giving a shite about the consequences. That is ultimately what put him off of the team.

That being said, I'm really going to miss watching him play. That's for sure.

exactly.
WHich part of that people cant/wont comphrehend is beyond me.

I think it has a ton to do with age and maturity level on this board.

An institution/program/business/country and what it stands for is bigger than any one employee/player.
The sooner some of these people here start to grasp that, the better off they are gonna be in life.

How'd he let his teammates down, when they were the ones he was probably smoking pot with?

One guy said it best on the radio yesterday.

You protect the things you care about. TM7 didn't care about FB.

I think most realistic people share this view

but it doesn't mean you should hate a 20 year old for not overcoming a issue

Ironically, I think jarrett lee's career would last longer if he took something to settle his nerves. Wrong thread?

Bingo..A ton of people on this board and IRL smoke weed..and that's cool if that's what they choose to do. I personally have nothing against it. But when you have solid rules in place telling you CAN'T smoke weed, you will face the consequences. Same as say dress code, curfew, etc.. The more you break that rule, the more significant the consequence. I have no sympathy for him, but I'm going to miss the frick out of him on Saturdays.

He wasn't the only one that failed, plus they don't test the whole team every time. It's maybe 1/4 of the team each time, different groups.

how many others have failed 3 times?
Im pretty sure its common knowledge among players if they fail 3 times, they gotta find something else to do.

So with that said, what group you are in, what percentage of the team or any other bla bla bla fricking bla has absoultley nothing to do with it.

That's not the point, you singled him out as if he was the only guy that smoked pot.
