So, for all the LSU is in decline assholes...if you don't go back more then 2 years and use Miles record of 10 plus win seasons, top 5 rankings, Bowls, and a NC then your basis for decline is completely retarded!

I don't think you understand the meaning of decline. Here.

Man, Im not smart like you with all the analysis and analogies, but heck, I could swear an improvement from the previous year wouldn't be a "decline".

And then you would probably want to say that you mean overall trends, but then you can't go back any further back than two years because THAT blows your shitty little argument.

So do you understand why you are stupid?

The BCS SOS ranks LSU at #13.

Hope you don't mind if I take there analysis of the teams we played over yours.

the teams we beat in the SEC this year suck tee total arse......

If you want to play a "Realitiger" or "Negatiger", or just a garden variety Sabanista here, you need to learn your subject matter.

These are the SEC Teams LSU beat in 2004:

Arkansas 5-6 (No-Bowl)
Alabama 6-6 (Music City Bowl - Loss)
Florida 7-5 (Peach Bowl - Loss)
Mississippi State 5-7 (No-Bowl)
Ole Miss 4-7 (No-Bowl)
Vanderbilt 2-9 (No-Bowl)

I see exactly 1 SEC team with a 7 win record defeated by the Sabaneers of 2004, and the 2 "Bowl eligable" teams lost their Bowl games.

The Mad Hatter's 2009 LSU team, defeated 3 SEC teams with 7 win records, that are heading to Bowl Games: Arkansas, Auburn & Georgia

To my knowledge, LSU has NEVER played both the #1 & #2 ranked teams during the regular season. (If anyone knows differently, please post the year - Thanks.)

Why do people have to make this about Saban vs Miles? If you are happy with where the program is, so be it. If you are not, you are entitled to your opinion. Some people do see a team that looks pretty non competitive right now against good teams. Some don't care because the record is still good.

That's the point. If LSU is getting top 5 talent every year, why are we 8-9 in the last 17 SEC games?

The worst QB play in the SEC this year with the exception of MSU.
Having a young, inexperienced QB that can't read defenses at this stage of his career.
Would JJ start at Bama,Florida,or Ole Miss?

Good question Roger, why do you bring up Saban, and make ludicrous statements like this:
quote:

This is true. Saban inherited mediocrity and built it up, Miles inherited talent and discipline and its breaking down.

W/L record is irrelevant for now. After next season it will be a powerful indicator however. So

"Non competitive" teams do not play football in January Bowl Games.

Simply stating the truth. Where Saban and Miles inherited their programs. Matter of perspective. Has nothing to do with Miles vs Saban. Saban is remembered too fondly IMO. Take way his championship season and LSU was a good team, not elite. But he built the program, Miles inherited it. You cannot compare the two based on their records, Its irrelevant.

The only "Saban vs Miles" is when the two programs play head to head from here on. "You people" think that anyone who doesn't think Miles is a freaking genius is hanging on Sabans strap. Not true.

2008: 8-5/3-5
2009: 9-3/5-3
If we continue to decline any further, we'll be 11-1/7-1 in 2010.

Kidding aside, I'd like to wait until the 2010 season plays out before pronouncing that LSU football is now a second-tier SEC program.

Stating the truth? Maybe "Truth" to you, but not to me. You can remember him fondly all you want. Doesn't change the fact that he was left with a built in Linebacker corp or Faulk, James & Lawrence. He sure as hell didn't leave a a Linebacker corp anywhere close to that. In fact none of his Linebackers were drafted at LSU. Then the Massive Offensive Line gaffes. He was left with 2 NFL Running Backs, along with some guy named Josh Reed. Also Jarvis & Howard Green, Ryan Clark, Brandon Winey, Louis Williams & Robert Royal & Norman LeJuene & Donnie Jones. At QB...man he was really "Stuck"....with only 3 NFL Draftees: Davey, Booty & Nall.

LSU somehow managed to win 661 of 709 Total wins without Tattoo. His 48 wins & 16 losses are noted.

As suspected. Impossible to have a convo with you on the subject. As noted, I am not a Saban fan. But unless someone thinks Miles is genius, he has to be a "sabanite, huh?

Figures. Reading comprehension skills would show you differently.

You mean like 9-3, #14 ranked, #3 in the SEC, and headed to play on New Year Day vs. 08's 7-5, unranked, #7 in the SEC, and headed to the Peach bowl??? Yeah, I can be "happy" with that fairly significant improvement in the direction of the program and hope for more of the same next yr.
