Umm, Jefferson and the whole OL went one way on the run, Shepard went the other way. It has nothing to do with guys trying to tackle him, but you obviously weren't actually watching the game, so you don't know.

I'm not even blaming Shepard here. It's the coaches fault that he wasn't ready to play. Just like basically everything that happened on offense was the coaches fault.

yeah its funny that these jj haters think we had a running game last year because of Lee's peyton manning type passing game is ridiculous. We had a running game last year because our o line got major push at the line. Its also a major major missconception that teams stacked the box against us. Almost every team stopped our run with a conventional 7 man front. Go ahead and tell me i'm full of shite. I rewatched every game atleast twice. Team usually did stack the box the first quarter then realized they didn't have too.

he just won't stop. I even said lets just acknowledge that jj is a good qb with weaknesses and if he get them fixed then he will be good. He wouldn't even agree he said jj will never get better and is a marginal qb. I guess matt flynn sucked horribly in his eyes if jj sucks.

You actually paid attention during the games, that's the difference.

Auburn for some strange reason had their strong safety in the box the entire game, and look what happened. The other teams were smart enough to see that we struggled to run the ball against Vandy and ULL.

If they load the box, you do what we did against Auburn. Do some 3-5 step drops, and throw fades or comebacks to Toliver.

It's noone's fault besides Crowton that it took him half the year to figure out that Toliver was 6'5".

Thanks for ignoring everything I posted though. I still don't know what your point is here.

um...lets see here...if your LSU who always runs the ball and you have a 1000 yard rusher returning with a young inexperienced QB, and people have been playing them close by stacking the box causing them to struggle to run the ball you um...put 8 men in the box....ok...ok...let me count...11 guys on the field ...11-8 = 3....um...ok...let me find 3 players that usually cover guys...there's um...2 corners....and whats that last guys name...i think its called a safety...

and how long have you watched football...cause if you say a long time...you would be really stupid..

we obviously know he can throw a comeback b/c we threw them all year...now how many times did JJ hit Tolliver in stride on a Deep fade?...thats what I thought...thats why they stacked 8 in the box running cover 3, (10 yards off the ball) guess where? right where a hitch would go...because they didnt respect the deep ball!!! b/c JJ couldnt throw it!!!

Are Manning, Brees, Brady, Rivers, Warner, Palmer, McNabb, and Favre not the division leaders in the NFL??? How the hell can you argue that those aren't some of the best QBs in the league?

I guess McElroy is the best QB in the country now.

your blaming the play calling, (which is bad) but the play calling is affected by JJ's play...Im not giving any of them a free pass...the play calling, the line, JJ, recievers, RB's all are at fault for something, but you obviously want to blame everyone else but JJ...Fact is play calling wouldnt have been so vanilla had we have a QB that didnt have so many weaknesses...
Guess you never thought of that with all your football wisdom...
