Tight end Billy Truax was a member of the @dallascowboys 1st Super Bowl winning team (SB VI) in 1972. Truax started 10 games, and split time with Mike Ditka.

lsufootball had players in 10 of the first 11 Super Bowls. Billy Cannon starred at TE for the @Raiders in 1967, catching 10 TDs (twice as many as WR Fred Biletnikoff). Cannon caught a pair of passes in Super Bowl II.

The first #LSU Tigers to play in the #SuperBowl were former teammates Jim Taylor (@NFL HOF '76) and Johnny Robinson (#NFL HOF '19). Johnny led the @Chiefs with 10 INTs in 1966, while Taylor scored the 1st rushing TD in SB history.

50 years ago, Johnny Robinson and Remi Prudhomme became the 1st #LSU Tigers to win a #SuperBowl. Both men recovered fumbles in the Chiefs' 23-7 win over Minnesota.
