The rule is virtually impossible to properly call b/c at game speed b/c a human's eyes are not good enough to tell whether the helmet or the shoulder made contact first, except in the case of the blatantly obvious instance like the La Tech hit. Ironically, no flag was thrown on that hit. The rule handcuffs referees into calling plays that they are incapable of seeing.

I beg to differ, the inial contact was with the shoulder, the official who made the call had a angle that there was no way that he could see the first contact, he was standing next to the ark coach and reacted after being questioned by the ark sideline, a bad call that almost cost us the game, SEC can go to.....
