Die hard lsu fan here. Brian Kelly just isn’t a likable guy. He is our coach and I hope he wins multiple natties here but he sucks as a person. His fake outrage against a reporter was weak. He showed more emotion in that press conference than at anytime during the game. Basically he is just a pussy, but he is our pussy

I’m sure he had a response ready to answer such a question, but he could have handled it better. It was by far the most relevant question to be asked outside of questions about injuries.
What does “this team has gone 17-1 at night” have to do with this particular team? Half of this team wasn’t even on the roster 1-2 years ago, much less Kelly’s entire tenure at LSU.
His response was indicative of someone that took the question personally since he is an offensive guy. Hence, the 17-1 response was because he felt criticized and was lashing back out.
It showed a lack of poise IMO and he projected on Cauble when he said veteran "media members" shouldn’t ask such questions. A veteran “coach" should shave handled such an obvious question better IMO.
Both things can be true. He was ready to use a question about offense as an opportunity, and he also lost his cool.
