Either way, it's a proven play in the redzone for teams that like to run the ball and everyone has it in their arsenal it seems. Not to mention lsu runs a lot of I formation so they could throw it to copeland in the flat also, I just don't recall seeing lsu running it. Secret playbook perhaps?

we just ran a bootleg last week at UF. but they tackled the FB before he could get out into the flat.

we ran the same play in the SECCG for a TD to Hilliard (he was lined up at FB).

He was wide open IIRC..it's a higher percentage play than a fade by a long shot. It won bama the 2009 iron bowl

hopefully they're busy this morning ripping off the plays Spurrier ran in the red zone Sat night...

The TE slip out from the bunch formation off play action is dying to be called as well.

I'll take that as long as he prevents a reception. While an int is a plus, his primary responsibility is to prevent the completion. He does that pretty good. Did he play WR in HS?

I would have hoped the staff would have had Armand Williams ready for this role..6'3" and 2-time state high jump champ

Tharold as a goal line WRwe at least see that the coaches would like a bigger guy to catch fades, let's get someone out there with the agility to really be a problem (ie slants, fade stop/ back shoulder stuff). might make for some interesting decoy looks as well.

good god dude, please tell me you aren't serious

Well when you only throw 1 in 7 games....

lol, you caught that huh?

I was really kinda messing around because I wanted something memorable for my 30000th post, and because I was shocked at how Tharold towered over Loston while watching some of the replay last night.
