A Tiger great deserves nothing but respect for all he has done for this program. Thank you Slinger!

Taken from the pinned thread, but probably more appropriate here:
I have posted this before, but now the moment is closer - Ensminger is still part of the program, but likely on the way to retirement in a couple of years.
Flash back to October 1, 1977 - my first college football game, in Tiger Stadium and Coach Mac was using 2 QBs, David Woodley (more of a running threat) and Steve Ensminger (more of a passer). I remember watching the players warm up, particularly the QBs (Woodley #8, Ensminger #5).
Flash forward to the last game I watched live and, lo and behold, Steve Ensminger was warming up the QBs prior to the game. As the Ensminger chapter closes, maybe it is more significant to me than someone who did not share those experiences.
To Steve Ensminger, a great Tiger who will always have 2019 as the pinnacle of his coaching career

I used to run around my yard as a kid
And I would switch between ensminger as a passer and woodley as a qb runner with my buddy down the street before video games

Unfortunately he has a fatal flaw.
He got on the wrong side of the Rant mob.
The perpetual complaining herd decided that he should be tarred and feathered because the LSU offense didn't perform like their X Box team does.
Reasonable people appreciate and applaud the job he has done and are disgusted at the mob mentality that daily shite on him and his accomplishments.
