Texas is VERY similar to LSU Baseball '08

Minus the miraculous streak of the LSU Baseball team of '08:
Texas has won quite a few games by the skin of their teeth in dramatic fashion. LSU did this alot last year.
As LSU found out last year in the CWS by UNC, there only so many times you can draw water from that well.
The piper eventually comes to collect.

We didn't make it to the finals last year. They did this year.....

I think he knows we did not make it. The moral of the story is that luck runs out and our luck ran out in the CWS last year.
