LSU will dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Also started the most freshmen in the country and were RAPED by injuries.

Fact is, they're well coached and talented. It won't be over at halftime.

TCU lost 6 games last year. They moved to a lesser conference than the SEC and got beat up.

Do I think we'll win? Yes. However, I also thought we were going to blow Clemson out and look at how that ended. You never know with Les.

You don't think having to play 17 true freshman and losing 3 key offensive players to suspensions/injuries played any part of that?

Even with all those losses they only got blown out once.

TCU got beat by more than 14 points once last year, at Oklahoma State where they jumped out to a 14 point lead but it withered away because TCU's offense was so bad that day that the combination of 3 and outs and bad field positions put their defense in a bad spot and tired them out.

TCU's defense held strong for 2.5 quarters but eventually Oklahoma State started hitting their receivers in the passing game because TCU's DBs were exhausted and Oklahoma State won 36-14.

But TCU still was strong against the run all game. TCU will not get blown out by giving up 300 rushing yards. A blowout will only happen with LSU going through the air and forcing TCU into turnovers.

I block out any memory of that game. Another year losing a bowl game and Les will start challenging Stoops' record.

I expect LSU to win the game by 10 or so.

But, TCU and Patterson aren't scared of anyone

Did TCU play many run oriented teams?

They did a good job of shutting down Texas, Michigan State and Kansas State on the ground, 3 running teams.

Don't follow college football much, et?

Playing a shite load of frosh and losing a quality QB will hurt your chances in any season, any conference. They will be much improved.

They aren't at LSU's level, so I don't really think it's worthwhile to talk smack about TCU. LSU should win, but TCU will make an early game of it.

Your problem is along both lines of scrimmages. You lost two starting o-lineman and an Lb what last week? LSU has the most athletic Dlineman in the county bar none. (Bama is big and mean. We are fast and mean. They are literally and figuratively freaks.

Our Oline is very very solid and experienced. You might win, but I am ole school and the team the wins in the pits usually wins on the scoreboard, although not always as last years LSU-BAMA game showed. (But they did lose the next week)

Yea he doesn't know that they sucked when they moved to a real conference

Yep, the move to the new conference was the only factor. The lack of any players on the team being recruited while the team was established in the big new conference had nothing to do with it either. The youngest team in the country was not a factor. The loss of the starting QB early in the season not an issue.

Keep fooling yourself that the move alone contributed to last year's disappointing but winning season.

LSU by at least 2 touchdowns, and that is a very conservative prediction

Why wasn't Patterson concerning himself with other coaches disciplinary procedures last year when Miles dismissed his returning Heisman Trophy candidate for the season ? Where was he the year before when Miles suspended his starting QB right before the season, even though LSU opened with #3 Oregon and had #25 MSU and #16 WVU in the first 4 weeks ? Every situation is different. What makes a coach stick his nose in that other than fear of getting his arse embarrassed even more with Hill on the field. Sad thing is, I bet Hill gets very little playing time in the TCU game and LSU will still take out tons of frustration on the Horned Frogs.....
