Only LSU fans could crank up a 5 page negative thread after winning 51 games, beating one of the top teams in the country twice in 2 days, thus securing their second trip in a row to Omaha.
Oh ya..they won the conference and conf. tourney.
But hell, one of these days the "if we keep running bases like that it's gonna bite us" crowd will be vindicated. They just have to wait a few more games i suppose...it IS double elimination.

Yes, it did. I'm like everyone else, I get upset when someone gets thrown out trying stretch or steal. I can see the philosophy behind it...try to take the extra base...make them make plays, if they dont make plays its going to cost them. But when you get to this level of competition its going to work a lot less than it would against ULM or mcneese.

Ok LSU makes a few baserunning blunders, but overall their aggressive baserunning is awesome.
