Trust me, the person using the id just gets turned away. The person who loaned their id gets in trouble.

I am sorry it happened to him but I won't turn him in because it would be my own fault I got caught.

It's not about turning someone in. They look at the id, they look at you. If you don't match the picture they confiscate the id and tell you you can't get in.

I never got asked after I graduated 5 years ago. They don't have the time to look at the cattle herd charging at them after they take the ticket.

They're cracking down as much as they can, really. They check the id before they take the ticket. Do they catch everyone, no. But they've certainly caught more than one.

they caught 80 in 2 games. How many student tickets are there? 10,000 a game? 80 out of 20,000.... not bad. I bet a lot more are doing it

Besides it young girls and guys looking before you enter into the actual part of the stadium. They dont look at the bottom entry level, they just take the ticket there. Find a cute girl or if your a girl, find a cute girl or guy and just smile at them. Some really don't care. They don't want to cause an uproar either. Remember that

I used my roommate's ID and was turned away. Next day my roommate had a judicial notice from the university and was on probation. So don't tell me how it works.

Student media finally got an interview with the Dean of Students' office: Student ID controversy

I was trying to do the same but kept getting the run around, seems to me this university isn't all that concerned with getting the word out.

I'm betting most people caught are freshmen using invalid IDs

O no, IDs weren't check so much if at all in the past, my cousin and his friends just 5-8 years ago could use each others IDs other peoples IDs no prob... this year, more cops, IDs are checked, etc.

No it is MUCH different this year. They have a kiosk set up behind the student gatwe that didnt used to be there where they send people with bogus IDs and pull up your profile to verify you are a current student. Its very much different than in years past.

can you give me the specifics of what happened though? was the pic nothing like you or did they look really close? I've gone in with a hat on with an ID that looks really similar to me and been good.

Diff hair color... If I had a hat maybe I would have been ok but I was used to them being very lenient so I didnt try to disguise myself
