As fans, isnt the answer, at the moment, to let this thing play out. You gotta think there is a lot going on behind the scenes. We should have a better idea where the administration will go with this as additional information comes to light.
It is okay to “cheat” if doing so within the rules. Time will tell if Wade is making “strong arse offers” within the rules or if additional cringe worthy information surfaces that clearly indicates he took it too far in comparison to other programs - they all “cheat.” College basketball and revenue generating collegiate sports have a slimy underbelly to them, especially the recruiting.
It’s been a great season, rapid rise and hopefully it isn’t built on a foundation of rules violations.

Dude, I am from Alabama and personally know people who fund “recruiting efforts” in cash for Alabama football. If you don’t think that’s going on at every competitive program you are naive and/or uninformed.
The bottom line is the NCAA doesn’t have subpoena power. They have no way of performing an actual investigation. Until that is fixed cheating will be the culture for every competitive program. It’s just the current reality.
