I gotcha. I wasn't aware the runner was their real threat on the base paths. Of course, with the way we run the bases, we would have run ourselves out of the inning had the situation been reversed.

I really hate this small ball stuff. I don't mean we have to have the 16-15 games of the 90's, but a little more offense would make the game more interesting. I truly hate watching some team like Texas play, where they sacrifice with no outs in the first inning.
