there's a reason Lee didn't play.....and it had nothing to do with Miles hating Lee, loving JJ, or not playing the best players

Didn't you mention something about a former girlfriend being part of the equation earlier?

i would love to let it go. But, it appears that that may very well be his defining coaching decision at lsu. People just don't understand it, it makes zero sense.

I'm fairly sure the staff my have thought of this.

JL in four games against the tide;

58 atts....24 completions....1 td....7 ints....4 sacks....-27 ydsnet rushing.

JJ in three games against the tide;

40 atts....26 completions....2 tds....0 ints....2 sacks....+86 ydsnet rushing.

frankly, it makes a lot of sense. if JL didn't Chernobyl every time he looked up and saw the tide he would have had the staff's confidence. if the tide would have gone up 14-0 zip he would have gotten his shot....but, in reality, who would have wanted that scenerio? JMHO.

good luck and thank you to both JJ and JL for many wins and the best they had.

Those stats were made extremely moot by JJ's performance in THIS game against Bama. By early in the 3rd, it was clear that he needed to be pulled...for any other QB on the roster.

bullshite

Miles benched a kid for not graduating in December for a kid currently under indictment for a crime?

AND YOU BELIEVE THAT bullshite?????

Lee can easily graduate in May. No big deal. No one would even ask why. Yet JJ still has to stand trial, or plead out in a very public fashion. There is no way in hell that Miles has that much charcter to value a grade over a crime. And Miles drew a whole heck of a lot of attention to Lee's plight, for someone trying to keep it quiet

NO EFFING WAY

And you're a fool for even entertaining that idea

it happened. i guess he figured JJ did his time with the 4 game suspension and not really playing until the bama game.

and he didn't bench him for not graduating....he benched him because he completely stopped going to class. even after Miles talked to his instructors to allow him to come back and finish....thats the part that was the final straw
