In both games we got down field with the slant pass. Jefferson can't throw that pass to save his life. We've watched him try for two years now and he's yet to hit a WR in stride.
BTW, pick up a fricking book every now and then and learn the difference between your & you're. I don't think you've hit it right once yet.

LSU has been effective at moving the ball consistently in exactly two games this year:
TN, in which the Tigers gained ~430 yards and Florida, which the Tigers gained ~385.
In both those games, we committed (to a large degree, anyway) to playing Lee, letting him throw the ball down the field, running the ball out of non-spread formations, and throwing some play action.
I realize that it may not be a perfect solution and we might well have lost anyway to Auburn, but it is the ONLY thing that has really worked all year. I say let’s give it an honest to goodness try because we sure did not do so against Auburn.

Yeah, we are pulling for him. You know why? Because we all can see that the starting QB can't get the job done. Can Lee? I don't know, but the probability that he is worse than JJ is pretty low. I don't think anyone is calling Lee a savior of our offense, but he is an upgrade.
