Standing over a downed opponent like White did...

Not only is White having to tackle a potential quarterback, but he is also trying to obstruct the quarterbacks vision on the pass which is why he has to stay high on that play. The call is no doubt wrong in my opinion. The only thing that I would have preferred for him to not do was to stand over the downed opponent. I know it is fashionable and everyone is doing it, but to me that just draws attention to a potential targeting or roughing call verses turning around to go see where the ball went and continuing the play. I know if I'm an official and it's a borderline call, it would probably influence me in a particular direction if I see an unsportsmanlike type behavior after a play. I'm sure some will say that it makes no difference, but I would argue that it doesn't help his case either way.

May not have gotten the flag had he not done that. Devin White is NOT a dirty player.

Very true. He is one of the best representatives of the purple and gold that we have on the roster. He is a leader and a man of character. I just wish that he would have turned away sooner to draw less attention his way. When you stand there, it's like "yeah, I just put you on your back" and unfortunately with the quarterback protection program going on in college and pro, they are going to throw the flag much faster than they used to. No reason to draw attention to the lick you put on the quarterback...even if it was a small one that should never have been called, much less targeted.
