Please, can you list all of these out so we can properly celebrate all of his massive successes since convincing Joe Alleva to give him a chance Syracuse wouldn't even interview him for

frickeye just said substantial achievements. 2-5 against p5 teams were good enough to not lose 5 or more games in a season.

losing to troy and having the worst loss in the 100+ year history of the lsu /msu game while having the 2nd most nfl draft picks in cfb in 2017.

epic accomplishments

you said burrow was a top 5 QB last year. false. your jimbo thread blew up in your face girl. you have zero credibility here.

like rick said you cannot handle facts.

if everyone here is not blindly on our knees stroking off the HC we are labeled haters.

the sad part is i think we all agreed 2018 was a decent year but thats not enough for that cult.

Burrow IS INDEED a top-5 QB. He was in '18 and he will be in '19. The fact that you are too football-tone-deaf to comprehend this, is your problem, not mine. For the slow kids (like you) there will be pretty stats with fancy graphics at the end of the season - then, of course, the NFL draft where he will be a top-5 pick.

And Jimbo is an OK coach. He got lucky with Jameis. He's averaged 5 losses for his last 2 seasons. Kinda looks like 5 losses is in range for '19 also.

Jimbo has a set of solid brass balls tho... demanding and getting $75,000,000 guaranteed!!! He ought to send half of that to "Crab Legs".

Any poll that has Jimbo Fisher as the 3rd best coach in America is a crap poll. He's a good coach, no doubt. But 3rd best in the country? We'll have to wait and see after a few years of him in the SEC to see how valid that is.

I’m with you to a degree, but I actually think I agree that he’s at least top 5. maybe chris peterson and kirby smart deserve to be ahead, but you’re really just splitting hairs imo.

10 wins in

2010
2011
2012
2013
2015

with 2 of his last full seasons having offenses that shite on anything O has put out.

i did.

you said o has done very well.

he has done what got miles fired.
any nonbiased person could see that.

all these"program headed in the right direction" posts are always proceeded by the words.... "it seems like" or "i think" because there are zero facts that point to lsu being in a different place than 3 of miles' last 4 seasons.

we are still losing to bama except now we arent even competitive as we havent had a lead for a single second since miles was fired
we are still losing multiple other inferior teams every year
we still have one of the worst offenses in the sec

if thats doing very well then miles was doing very well

Sorry, but I can't see the fascination with Fisher. Great, he had a Natty with a once-in-a-career QB.

But, he has averaged 4 losses over his last 4 seasons - and 5 losses in his last 2. And he left Florida St in a recruiting mess - they had 7 losses in the year after he left.

He'll likely lose 4 games in '19... maybe 5.

he moving of whats expected at lsu is the only way the 2017 and 2018 seasons could be called doing very well.

Well which is it? Is Ed doing ok or not? You can't seem to make up your mind.

How many players in Miles’ 2016 class were offensive players? How many were defensive players?

I'm pretty sure that when all was said and done it was a defensive heavy class. A starter or two on offense but several on defense.

2018 was a decent season just like 2012 and 2013.
having a single DECENT season isnt doing very well. but i wouldnt expect O's side piece to understand that.

Sure:
NY6 Bowl win
#6 AP Final Poll
Top-5 Recruiting Classes in 2019 & 2020

There are Power-5 programs all over the country who would kill for that.

my how we have fallen as a program. touting 1 top 5 class.during the last regime that was expected not touted.

we are now saying O is doing well because lesser programs would kill for a top 5 class.

congrats on trying to act like our 2020 class is already a top 5 class. signing day is 7 months away.

1 #6 finish
1 class where we finished 4th in sec in recruiting

pop the champagne boys. we have made it.

And he'll be proving it AGAIN since he had the #6 team in the only poll that matters - the AP final poll.

That ranks teams.

Not coaches.

Those are all of his achievements over the past 15 years.

Now do Les Miles.

No I guess I don't. If you're saying that a 6 in the country finish with a 10 and 3 record and a major bowl win isn't very good then I don't want to understand a thought process that says that isn't very good. Especially since this team has been struggling for years.

Yes one has to go all the way back to...2015.

Basically ancient history.

i think west titles are very good. at no point were we a threat to win the west last year.

because most years the top ranked 3 loss team isnt #6. i know you just started following lsu football but multiple times we were the top ranked 3 loss team under miles and we werent #6.

everyone thinks of 2015 as underachieving and we lost 3 games that year.how many games did we lose last year?

There were 9 players from that class that were offense, including “running back” Devin White.

To say that 2016 didn’t produce a ton of offensive talent is disingenuous because they didn’t have a lot of offensive players to begin with.

As I said, things got off to a tough start. It would have been very easy for things to crash and burn. Orgeron didn’t let that happen.

Won 10 games last year and had a great class.

Things were not trending in the right direction under Miles. Everyone saw it.

It feels like we are headed back in the right direction now

If only Miles had shite the bed hard in 2015 he could have been heading in the right direction to start 2016 even with two losses.
