Ole Miss--historically, after Tulane way back, our biggest rivalry. And they don't know how to act like they've done it before when they finally win one.

Arkansas

TAM--again, historically a big rivalry

Bama

Auburn--sister Ag school; good folks. If we have to lose, rather be to them.

1 Tulane
2 Ole Miss

Many of our fans have never witnessed a loss to Tulane, but it just doesn't get any worse than losing to Tulane.

it's like an ole miss loss x 10

For me it is Alabama. I live in the Birmingham area and it is 80/20 Tide/Auburn here if I were to guess with no pro team getting a strong interest except a few Atlanta Braves fans. When I lived in Dallas and listened to talk radio by contrast, it was Cowboys getting the lion's share of attention with the Rangers and Mavs getting smaller slices. Collegiate sports were not on the radar scope. I didn't even follow LSU football for years while I lived there. It is only when I moved here that I regained interest. Folks at work all know who each other's team is. There are frequent "wear team shirts" days on Fridays. My first week at work here, I was asked what I thought of Auburn. I replied that it had a very fine equine veterinary medicine program. I was not yet in step with the culture here. When your team beats Bama (or Auburn), folks congratulate you as if had done something something. "You guys played great this weekend". The reverse is also true and is to be avoided. Of course we get razzed if we lose a game we ought not lose (like to Ole Miss) but the negative attention after a bad performance against Alabama is much worse.
