Speaking of forgotten football stars...

I remember seeing a picture of the LSU defensive backfield in the 70s where one guy stood head and shoulders over the others. He was huge. As I recall he was like 6'2" at a time when you did not see such large CB. I seem to remember him getting hurt by a crack back block (blew out his knee) before they made it illegal and before surgeries were so successful.
I think it might have been Clinton Burrell.

He played for The (LSU) Browns of The NFL, for a few years.

Chris Carrier was the tallest DB I remember from those days.

And he played in the 1980's, not the 70's.
