She is a grad transfer
Missouri was a hot mess that dealt with a coaching change and their administration treated that program like crap. A lot of players bolted. Kudos to the staff for convincing her to come to LSU as she could have gone anywhere in the entire country and start!

Anyone know why Gorsuch hasn’t pitched lately. I kinda thought she’d be our ace this year but maybe she just doesn’t have it yet

Wickersham and Sunseri have been the most impressive pitchers so far.
Both are getting better. We just got to find a way to get gorsuch back on track with her control. Free passes have been the biggest issues with the pitchers. More base runners, more you flirt with trouble!
Kilponen needs mid week games to continue developing. She definitely shows some major flashes during the Georgia series but the consistency with her control isn’t quite there yet. That said, they finally developed a change up with her which is gonna be a big help to her down the road!
It’s very hard to be go to pitcher as a true freshman! Not many can do it. It takes a year or two to develop with most, that said Wickersham is more than holding her own!
