Our pitching is young and will get better but man do we miss Hoover and Walljasper. Offensively I thought we’d be better but we still can’t hit elite pitching. Hope they continue to improve

I have hope for the offense and the pitching has been good. Elite pitching is hard for anyone to hit, but I know what you are saying. We’ve got good pitching this weekend except for today, so hopefully we will be okay

From this weekend

Wickersham is the real deal and IMO is definitely the best pitcher of the staff.

Sunseri's control was iffy today. Some of them will have to learn to pitch back to back days unfortunately.

Kilponen will really need to work on not letting calls that don't go her way get to her. She has some really nice flashes of great stuff but leaves balls way too sweet over the white of the plate just to get back in the strike zone. The mental aspect of competing IMO is where she will need to grow the most.

Hitting, there were some flashes but not a whole lot of consistency. There seems to be a lack of discipline on the rise ball down the lineup. Hope they improve but the offense will have to get better. This is a veteran lineup. We knew going into this season there would be growing pains in the circle with the inexperience. Offense will have to produce early on to help out these young pitchers.
