would this change anything?
No. This will still be LSU-Woke. Lifelong fans will no longer care. And unless this either changes for the better and Woke-ism is no more, or the whole country collapses because of Woke (and all who go with it) nothing will bring back any of the old LSU magic. It’s over.

I don’t understand the big advantage to announce the change to Ed and the world mid-season. Can you ethically talk to current coaches during their season? Why not make the announcement the week of the Texas A&M game?

This will be a big distraction for the remainder of the season….for players and coaching staff.

Not really using your brain I see.

*This puts away fan outcry to keep O if we keep winning games. The reason O is still coaching has partly to do with not liking interim options.

*Do you really want to keep seeing the media ask O and the players about the "distraction" of if or when does he get fired? It will happen every week and something like that can fester and go out of control. Coaches not name Ed O didn't even know before they announced it. This takes pressure off them as well. All players and coaches are mostly focused on winning at LSU. The calls will come for coaches who are good enough.

Been hearing from several media members that a lot of coaches were not happy with Ed or this whole situation.
