The problem is more with the assistant coaches than the players. The players tend to take on the personality of their position coach. Just look at the O-Line personality and then look at "Stud the Dud" and you see the results. Either fire "Stud the Dud" or light a fire under him.

Players tend to reflect the personality of their position coach and Black tended to reflect his coach "Stud the Dud." Stud takes the path of least resistance.
