I like this 'what if' game.
What if Bertman hired a proven big time winner instead of Miles after Saban left?
What if ESPN hadn't broken the Miles to Michigan story and he actually had left?
What if Miles wasn't so stubborn about things and made changes before phases of their game went in the crapper?

My problem isn't that LSU lost. This was a game I thought we would lose prior to the season.
My concern is that the defense played well enough for LSU to win. Even against a great defense like Florida's, I think LSU should be able to muster more than 162 yards of offense and a measly three points. Not only did LSU only get those three points, the offense never threatened to score beyond those three points. It was a truly anemic effort at best.
Even if LSU had lost but had been more competitive from an offensive point of view, I'd be a lot happier today. Again, I knew LSU might possibly lose this game, but I thought we have been more competitive.
The good news is that LSU will not see but one more defense that is even remotely comparable to Florida, and that is Alabama.
The offense just needs to work out its problems, and we should be OK for the rest of the games (except maybe Bama - but I'm not conceding victory to the Tide yet).
