IMO, at least rotate a good bit with the other guys. Now that Trey is back, I'd like a rotation with him and Godchaux. I'd like Bain to rotate heavily with LaCouture.

He just doesn't have the power, and it shows.

Exactly. We recruited 2 top 5 (Gilmore and Herron) and a top 20 DT (ma-kweedis Bain) and NONE of them see the field. You can't teach size and they are all 6'4 280 - 300 lbs. they are bodies if anything, Lacouture sucks and I hate to say it, but he's just not a good defensive tackle

Look at auburns rotation, they play yevery dlinemen they have. Experienced or not

Haley controls the rotation . . .

He also evaluates them during recruiting and is responsible for coaching them the proper technique and scheme responsibilities.

IMO, Haley has been struggling for a few seasons now.

I have heard "experts" say otherwise....they just think he is not ready. If he isn't the younger guys behind him probably aren't.

Naw. They said specifically in the offseason before Trey hurt himself, that he would see starting rotation. Never heard anything about Godchaux, yet he was playing the fourth quarter against Wisconsin. Bain has said himself that he needs to get better at technique, but the guy is damn strong though. He came in with LaCouture. I think LaCouture would be better dropping some weight, and playing at DE again, but I know that won't happen. Maybe Herron too, but also, that will not occur.

We are going after this guy who was at UGA and is now a JUCO, I believe, that will be a great DT pickup for this year.

At this point, we need help and I'll take it from anywhere.

How is Trey going to come In and surpass 3 dudes who've been with the LSU program for 2 years, does anyone not question anything?

It doesn't help much this season, but DG is gonna be special 2 years from now provided he stays healthy on and off field

I don't care if he plays on 1st downs only. We need our big boy to become eligible yesterday!

I've never been more excited but I think Valentine will help us more on defense than most starters..

it really wouldn't hurt to get out backups some time, seeing as he is just a big body on the DL, not much more.

Then you'd just be on here saying, "Lacouture should be playing more because he was chosen as the starter and you're rotating guys in that are not very good. Let the starter play."

We don't have very good DTs. It is what it is. You can rotate more in, start someone else, do a bunch of bitching, etc. and you're still not gonna get good production because they are just not that good.

Well i don't see how anyone could do worse. the guy gets pushed around all day. He would do better to sit down and at least plug up the hole.
