Me personally think that mills might need to make a move to safety. He could be molded now to make it easier for him in the nfl. His down field speed is not that great but he tackles well and is physical he could fo what mathieu has done in the nfl.

EXACTLY this. The DB's played well, but again, this.

Playing man coverage against JFF is a risky game, as the DB's backs get turned to the QB, allowing QB to scramble down the field. The defensive stars of this game were the linemen, who got constant pressure without crazy blitzes, which allowed for combo coverages, which made his receivers be constantly covered, which made him throw a ton of horrible looking passes.

love the db's of the future. my concern lies with the front 7 coming together. certainly looked promising on saturday.

It is scary to think we could lose Freak, Ego and Rasco this year...

the defensive star of the game was the Chief...mixing up where the extra pass rusher was coming from was probably the biggest factor in JFF's confusion. Also, zone is more dangerous against JFF because much of the time he knows how the play will unfold pre-snap. Vs. man he really doesn't know who will be open and the extra pass-rusher gives him little time to go through progressions.
