Should’ve blitzed Benefield more

Played with hair on fire when he blitzed.
Still cannot figure out how we played so passive. Trinidad is a better passer than runner. Would rather force his legs

Baker played him deep a lot when he’s a box safety and thrives against the run and blitzes. Basically most of the defensive issues last night were baker not using his defensive players’s strengths

The thought was to make OM drive the length of the field and not give up big plays.
I hated the concept because instead we get a lopsided time of possession and our offense took a while to get rhythm.

The big pass over the top of Pickett and the crossing route td pass we’re both a result of benefield taking bad angles, arriving late to the play, and running into the primary defender covering that receiver.
