Should I go to the game?

Plan: Get up at 5:00am & leave Biloxi by 5:30 for the game. Come back to Biloxi that afternoon.
Now, will traffic be a major biotch getting back to Biloxi/ I just got off the phone with LSP and they said the earliest they would start contraflo would be 5:00 Sat, but she thought it would be more like Sunday. Now, I am worried about traffic going East. Are people evacuating East or is everyone going North?

In BR, there is already heavy traffic from the east...seems like tons of people are leaving from the N.O. area already. I have a feeling your normal 2.5 hours from Biloxi to BR may take longer tomorrow.

Yeah...I-10 West through BR has been very busy all day, and I-12 seems busier than normal too.

You might just have to leave a little earlier...maybe people won't be evacuating as much at 7am in the morning.

I called the LSP hotline and the lady said the earliest they will start contraflo is 5 tomorrow. She thought more like sunday morning. I was planning on calling first thing in the morning to see if that were still the same.
But, then I started thinking about people evacuating east and wondering if I will get stuck in heavy traffic.

We usually sit around and BS for a while and wait for traffic to die down.......should we not do that?
